Other Dan away, The Son Runs, and 100 not out.

A return to Gunnersbury parkrun with The Son to complete my 100th parkrun. Other Dan is away on his honeymoon but he sent me a congratulatory message in the morning – nice one Other Dan. In the end it was a simple affair, just one more parkrun round the course where I originally started parkrunning while I chatted with The Son. I wish that he would go with me more but he’s a teenage pod person hibernating in his bedroom on weekend mornings.

We went to the café after for our standard post-parkrun breakfast of scrambled egg on toast before heading home.

This now marks the end of my writing a blog entry about every parkrun. I cannot really remember what made me start writing about each run, about documenting my result each time, and linking to the Garmin result. In the end it became a writing streak that I didn’t want to break but set out to end it after the 100th parkrun. In the future I will settle for writing about visits to new parkrun locations or on special parkrun occasions.
