Other Dan, chatterbox and could have gone to Osterley.
The Son briefly stirred from his lair as I was getting ready for parkrun but it was only to tell me that he was going back to bed so would not be joining me. This left me to meet Other Dan at Hanger Lane then head to Gunnersbury Park together ready for parkrunday.
Tomorrow I run the second Ealing Half Marathon, which meant I was taking it easy today. I always like to get in a slower short run the day before a race, just to keep my legs moving, and today I fell in step with Amy who also had the same plan. We then ran together for the first 4km and didn’t stop chatting away about all things parkrun and running in general.
I pushed on for the last km, again I always like to get the legs moving a bit faster before race day, and I met Other Dan near the finish funnel before making our way to the café. On the way home we were trying to remember how many parkrun locations we have now run at when it suddenly dawned on us that Other Dan hasn’t yet run at Osterley and we could have easily made it today.
