Edging towards my 50th parkrun and the coveted red t-shirt.
The Son didn’t run today, he is saving energy for summer league tomorrow, but he did come to cheer me on. I ran past him as I approached the 3km point as he walked back from the café with a bottle of Sprite in his hand. He was at the finish funnel as well but I must have been running fast because he did not spot me.
Scrambled egg on toast went down a treat as we sat outside the café in the sun and then it was home to enjoy the rest of the day.
