Twelve months ago I was relaxing on a family holiday to Japan and browsing online for marathon training tips. Somehow I stumbled across a link to Janathon and I signed up and started this blog to document my daily exercise all through the month of January.
I repeated the feat through Juneathon but my spiritual home is Janathon because it provided the spark for me to set-up and maintain my blog through the year. Those days & months have rolled around again so I am once again registered and raring to go.
Through January I will be aiming for a sub-50 minute 10k at the Brooks Serpentine New Year’s Day 10k, representing Ealing Eagles at 3 cross-country races, running at parkrun with The Son, taking part in Jantastic as part of ‘the parkrun show’ team, starting my training for the Richmond Park Marathon, and aiming to run every day of the month… and blog each & every day!
