The Son was having bit of a teenage moment this week so was already taking a walk-run strategy before we completed the first km so we were pretty slow for the first half of the run. However, he soon brightened up at the half way point and scootered off by himself as I tagged along trying to maintain a reasonable distance.
Even though we started off slowly there was time made up in the second half and The Son was not far off dropping under 30 minutes for the second time so I was proud of the effort he put in.
