My plan was to take a week off from running after completing the Brighton Marathon and then get back to interval & speed sessions in preparation for a couple of upcoming 10k’s before spending a summer of serious training to finally get my half-marathon time sub-2 hour. The sickness monkey had other ideas though and once again I was laid low by yet another cold. So another week of not running and then an hour of karate at the weekend once I had shaken another illness.
